Centre Will Train 50000 People in Kerala as Part of Skill Development- Rudy

Pothencode: The Centre will train 50000 people in Kerala as part of skill development program with the participation of Santhigiri Ashram, said Rajiv Pratap Rudy, the Central Minister for Skill Development. He was inaugurating the Cultural Meet in connection with the Navati Celebrations of Navajyoti Sri Karunakara Guru at Santhigiri Ashram.


The Minister said that Santhigiri is a model for the society in philanthropic work and skill development programs. Santhigiri through these programs would make people employable in line with the vision of its Founder, Navajyoti Sri Karunakara Guru. He assured the Ashram all support in these activities.


The function was attended by Rev. Father Dharma Raj Rasalam, Bishop, CSI, Church, Swami Sookshmananda, Sivagiri Mutt, Dr. Babu Sebastian, Vice Chancellor, M.G. University, Sri Thomas Jacob, Editorial Director, Malayala Manorama, Fr. Mani Pootayidam, Managing Director, Deepika, Swami Navakripa Jnana Tapaswi, Head Operations, Santhigiri Ashram among others.


Sri V. Muraleedharan, Member, BJP National Executive Committte did the fresh release of (late) Sri O.V. Vijayan’s book on Navajyoti Sri Karunakara Guru titled ‘ Samudrathilekku Vazhi Thetti Vanna Paral Meen’, in the function.


Several distinguished personalities from different walks of life were also honored in the function, which included Adv. K. Chandrika, Ex. Mayor, Trivandrum, Sri Madhupal, Film Director and R.S. Vimal, Film Director.


Swami Pranava Suddhan Jnana Tapaswi, Incharge Education, Santhigiri Ashram welcomed the gathering. Swami Gururetnam Jnana Tapaswi, Organizing Secretary of the Ashram presided over the function.
