This momentous occasion will be graced by the divine presence of her holiness Shishyapoojitha Amritha Jnana Thapaswini, the present Guru Apparent of Santhigiri Ashram, who will preside over the consecration ceremony.
The Santhigiri Ashram, Saket Branch, located in the national capital at Pushp Vihar, Saket, South Delhi, holds significant events in its history. The foundation stone for this Ashram was laid on 2nd March, 2002, by the then Lt. Governor Mr.Vijay Kapur, in the gracious presence of Chief Minister Mrs. Sheila Dikshit. The consecration of the Ashram took place on 3rd April, 2005. In 2009, the current Guru Apparent Sishyapoojitha Amritha Jnana Thapaswini, paid a visit to this Ashram during her spiritual pilgrimage to North India.
The land on which Santhigiri Asram, New Delhi stands, was allocated by the Ministry of Urban development, Government of India, owing to the visionary efforts of the late Shri.K.R. Narayanan, the former president of India. We humbly acknowledge his instrumental role in this significant endeavour.
Santhigiri Ashram, Saket Branch will serve as a centre for coordinating myriad spiritual, cultural and holistic healthcare activities. In addition, beyond spiritual pursuits, we actively engage in encouraging communities through skill development and public healthcare initiatives, particularly in the regions of North and North-East India. These initiatives already impacted thousands of unemployed youths from tribal areas, providing them with renewed hope and new found opportunities.
Moreover, our Ashram Branch at Saket will act as a collaborative platform, fostering partnerships with national and international bodies to host insightful programs and meaningful discussions on pertinent social issues. Together, we aim to address critical social issues, thereby contributing to the overall development and well-being of society.
As we approach the dedication ceremony of the Santhigiri Ashram, Saket Branch in November 2023, we are filled with a profound joy and purpose. Its establishment marks a pivotal milestone in our mission to provide spiritual guidance, cultural enrichment, and holistic healthcare to individuals across the nation.

With the pandemic obstructing supply chains and livelihoods, an estimated 132 million more people could go hungry by the end of this year than previously estimated. Out of this 25 million are children. Karuna Kit is an initiative started by Santhigiri Ashram to extend support and kindness to the underprivileged sections of the society. A Karuna kit is not just a ration kit but a thoughtful composition of hygiene essentials like face mask, sanitary pads, hand sanitizers etc which are few of the basic necessities.
Last year as well with the help of Coal India Limited and IGL, Santhgiri was able to feed more than one lakh people who were mostly migrant workers in various regions of Delhi NCR. This year as well understanding the current situation and the necessity of the poor families, Santhigiri came up with Karuna Kit which is a combination of the basic foundation of Santhigiri Ashram - Annadaanam (Free food) and Athurasevanam (Medical support).
Our small effort to help street children has been well received till now. We request everyone of you watching this video to kindly share it as much as possible and help Santhigiri Foundation reach more of these little ones so that none of them have to sleep at night with a hungry stomach.
A Karuna kit is not just a ration kit but a thoughtful composition of hygiene essentials like face mask, hand sanitizers etc along with the necessary medical assistance in the form of doctor consultation and free medicines required by them.
We are using ration as a means to educate and make these poor families aware about the threats of Covid 19 and the upcoming third wave.
India, the nation of World’s largest youth population is striving hard to ensure 100 percent employment to it’s youth.
Focussed towards this goal, Santhigiri along with support from Government of India through it’s prestigious schemes for skilling the unemployed rural youths like DDUGKY (Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalaya Yojana) and PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana) have supported more than 500 students who are today leading a far better and meaningful life.
We feel proud contributing and educating them with a strong vision toward the family and the nation.
This initiative started in the year 2015 is supported by renowned PSUs like IGL, IRCON, Coal India, NRL, RITES, CONCOR, NTPC, ONGC under their CSR.
Understanding the current demand of the industry every year, we initiated skill development programmes in Ayurveda Therapy to uncover the talented students living in the outskirts unaware about the scope of earning a better standard of life.
Hospitality, the core value of India, is something which we always treasure and our youth understanding and adapting the same culture are learning and respecting the Ayurveda like never before.
